private somatic sessions

Private somatic sessions begin with what feels most present for you — whether something arising now, or something you’ve been wanting to explore or understand more deeply over time. This might be an experience in your body, a pattern you’ve noticed, or a broader sense of how you are in yourself or in life.

There is no fixed agenda, script, or protocol that I follow. While this may initially feel vague or ambiguous, it allows the work to remain open-ended and responsive to what is present.

This is a body-based, experiential inquiry into how sensation, movement, perception, and lived experience are organised within the body.

Slowing down to the body’s pace can feel like entering a quieter, more spacious place where we can allow your experience to unfold naturally.

💫 Sometimes the body reveals something unexpected.
💫 Sometimes something subtly shifts and reorganises.
💫 Sometimes nothing obvious happens in the moment — until something shifts later, in its own time.

All of it — and everything in between — is welcome.

If the goal isn't to fix, change, or even heal, is it still worth the effort to simply be present? What happens when we simply stay with it?

Sessions are typically 60 minutes, though longer sessions can be arranged when additional time and space feel supportive.

The pace and length of our work depend on what you’re exploring. Each session attunes to where you are in your process, ensuring the direction that feels right for you.

what somatic sessions are—and aren't

Psychotherapy
Somatic sessions are not intended to diagnose, assess, or treat mental health conditions. While emotions, past experiences, and psychological themes may naturally arise, the focus is on cultivating embodied awareness and supporting your capacity to relate to your experience in new ways.

Bodywork
Rather than focusing primarily on hands-on treatment, somatic sessions create space for embodied inquiry, reflection, and experiential exploration. This process can foster greater awareness, new perspectives, and greater choice in how you relate to yourself, others, and your life.
